💫 Unlike some mass-produce early artist signatures, this 2016 Custom Shop "Dove Special" was built for players and collectors demanding premium custom performance with a bolder aesthetic footprint. A premium black nitro finish applied over clean Sitka spruce delivering an elegant and commanding stage presence, preserving the crystal-clear articulation the long-scale Dove is famous for.

💫 Standard acoustics use a basic single-piece neck, this Custom Shop build features a premium maple neck reinforced with double walnut stringers. Historically tracing back to the turn of the 20th century, to mirror Orville Gibson's original 1890s/1900s "Star & Crescent Moon" pearl headstock inlays used on his first hand-carved mandolins and guitars. 💫 Condition/ Disclosure

🟠 Light play wear/ faint scratches indicative of its age. Solid black nitro finishes are notoriously unforgiving and show the slightest contact. These superficial marks are cosmetic, strictly in the clear coat, & visible only in direct angled lighting. Structurally, the guitar is flawless: the neck is straight, the frets show minimal to no wear, and the current setup is immaculate.
