Vintage 1974–1976 Gretsch 7560 Double Anniversary — Sunburst

Beautiful Baldwin-era, USA-made Gretsch Double Anniversary hollowbody electric guitar in its classic sunburst finish, complete with its original-style Gretsch-branded Ess & Ess hardshell case, period paperwork, accessories, and case key.

Model: 7560 Double Anniversary
Estimated Year: 1974–1976
Serial Number: 26240
Finish: Sunburst
Country of Manufacture: USA
Condition: Very Good vintage condition, with documented cosmetic wear

This is a particularly well-preserved example of the mid-1970s Double Anniversary, featuring the distinctive three-knob control layout, rectangular block fingerboard inlays, dual Gretsch pickups, chrome hardware, and hollowbody construction.

Playability and Function

The guitar plays beautifully, and all electronics are functioning as intended. Both pickups, controls, and switching operate properly.

The guitar is solid and structurally sound, with comfortable playability and no known functional issues.

Cosmetic Condition

For a guitar approximately 50 years old, this example presents extremely well.

The body retains its attractive, glossy sunburst finish, with minor finish checking, light scratches, and typical signs of vintage handling and use.

There is one noticeable area of localized finish loss on the back of the neck near the body joint, shown clearly in the photographs. This is cosmetic finish wear only, not a crack or structural repair.

Importantly, the body and neck binding are exceptionally well preserved for a vintage Gretsch of this period, with no significant deterioration observed.

The instrument has not been refinished or cosmetically restored.

Please examine all photographs for the detailed condition.

Included Original-Style Case and Accessories

  • Gretsch-branded Ess & Ess fitted hardshell case
  • Vintage Gretsch quality-control / O.K. card
  • Gretsch guitar polishing instructions
  • Gretsch polishing cloth
  • Gretsch adjustment tool

The vintage hardshell case is in excellent functional condition for its age, with intact interior, working latches, and operational hardware.

About This Model

The Model 7560 represents the later Baldwin-era evolution of Gretsch’s celebrated Double Anniversary series.

Its three-knob lower-bout control layout, block fingerboard inlays, and period hardware place this example in the mid-1970s production period.

The precise manufacturing year has not been independently verified; 1974–1976 is the best-supported estimate based on the instrument’s features.

Final Notes

This is a well-preserved, fully playable vintage American Gretsch with desirable period accessories and an attractive original-style presentation.

The exact guitar and accessories shown in the photographs are included.
