Fender Coronado II Wildwood III 1968 Thinline Guitar
Fender Coronado II Wildwood III thinline electric guitar in good vintage condition. The serial number dates this beauty to 1968. The Wildwood series was an odd venture by Fender -- they injected growing trees with dye that colored the wood that was later harvested for their Coronado Wildwood bodies. The fretboard and frets on this one are in terrific condition. The original electronics include the two DeArmond single coils (jangle heaven). The pots all work, however, the bridge volume pot is a little stiff to turn. There is crazing on the original nitro finish that doesn't show up in pics. One place of wear on the back of the neck (see pic). Neck plays really well!
Ships in its original case (pictured) which is in good condition.
