Produced since 1969, the D-41 sits between the HD-28 and the D-42/D-45 in Martin’s lineup. It features the brand’s classic construction, with rosewood back and sides, a Sitka spruce top, a mahogany neck, and an ebony fingerboard and bridge. At Martin, the higher the model number, the more elaborate the ornamentation. Although less decorated than its bigger sisters, the D-41 still boasts plenty of refined details, including the rosette, headstock logo, fingerboard inlays and pearl bindings, all of which make a real difference. The tuners have been replaced and a piezo pickup has been installed. In very good condition, it comes with its original case.
