Up for sale is the iconic Thermionic Culture Fat Bustard II in the highly desirable Limited Edition Green finish - a rare, special-edition variant of the brand's all-valve passive summing mixer. This is an incredible-sounding, 12-channel all-valve summing mixer that adds the warmth, depth, and ‘glue’ that is synonymous with elite analogue hardware.

This Fat Bustard II Green Edition is in excellent condition and has recently been fully serviced and retested by Thermionic Culture in October 2026. See scans of the Test Report and Service.

Very sad to see it go, but due to health reasons I'm no longer using my studio. It was bought back in 2012, see the scan of the purchase certificate, and it had 7 years of light use - it hasn't been used since 2019 because of my health, but I just wanted to make sure that it was in perfect condition, hence the recent service.

Cosmetically it’s in very good condition, but there are a couple of scuffs / small scratches on the front far left and right, visible in the photos. Sold with its original box.

The Green Edition (Limited Edition / LE) uses a pair of 6072 / 12AY7 dual triodes in the input/EQ stage instead of the standard 5965 tubes (both versions share the same Russian Tung-Sol 6SN7 GTB output valves).

This is designed to offer greater clarity and less overall colouration, reduced microphony, lower noise floors, and gentler, more subtle harmonic distortion on the Attitude control.

It also features an extended top-end response stretching past 55 kHz with reduced phase shift.
