An absolutely gorgeous example of vintage Japanese craftsmanship! This 1978 Greco Les Paul Custom EG-500C is a beautifully preserved instrument from the golden era of Japanese guitar manufacturing, featuring a stunning, rich finish, classic Les Paul Custom styling, and the unmistakable character that makes these vintage Grecos so desirable today.

During the late 1970s, Greco was establishing itself as one of Japan's most respected guitar brands, producing increasingly refined interpretations of iconic American designs. Built during the celebrated lawsuit-era period, these instruments have earned a dedicated following among players and collectors for their craftsmanship, vintage character, and exceptional value.

For an instrument approaching 50 years old, this Greco is exceptionally clean. The finish has retained its beautiful depth, richness, and gloss, giving the guitar a vibrant appearance that truly comes alive under the light. It's one of those vintage instruments that looks even better in person!

The guitar shows only minimal signs of use, including a few light surface scratches, tiny finish chips, and minor cosmetic marks consistent with its age. Nothing particularly distracting or significant - overall, it presents remarkably well and feels wonderfully clean in hand.

The original pickups are still in place, preserving the guitar's authentic vintage voice. They deliver the warm, rich, full-bodied humbucker tones these classic Japanese Les Paul-style guitars are loved for, with plenty of clarity, sustain, and character.
