PRS S2 Vela - Scarlet Sunburst with Premium Gig Bag

PRS S2 Vela: Vintage Personality, Modern Reliability

Anchored by PRS playability and craftsmanship, the S2 Vela is perfect for players who want PRS build quality and reliability with a fresh aesthetic. The Vela is the maiden voyage into an offset body shape for PRS and is both elegant and edgy. Loaded with a PRS DS-01 humbucker in the treble pickup position and the PRS Narrowfield in the bass pickup position, the Vela has a bright, punchy tone that sounds great plugged into your pedalboard or straight into an amp. A coil-tap on the tone control allows the DS-01 pickup to split into single coils and explore a whole new range of tones. The PRS plate-style bridge holds two brass saddles specifically designed for great sustain and perfect intonation so both rhythm and lead tones sound great no matter where you are on the fretboard. In the studio or on the stage, you won't want to leave this guitar at home.

Plate-Style Bridge for Enhanced Sustain

The PRS S2 Vela features a steel plate-style bridge that is easy to string and comfortable to play. This bridge is designed to provide great sustain and perfect intonation across the fretboard, ensuring that both rhythm and lead tones sound clear and resonant. The combination of brass saddles and steel construction adds to the guitar's bright, punchy tone, making it a versatile choice for any musical style.

Low-Mass Locking Tuners for Stability

Equipped with PRS Low-Mass Locking Tuners, the S2 Vela offers exceptional tuning stability and ease of string changes. These lightweight tuners not only keep your guitar in tune but also enhance the overall resonance and sustain. Their locking mechanism ensures that your strings remain secure and stable, even during extensive playing sessions.

Versatile PRS DS-01 and Narrowfield Pickups

The PRS DS-01 humbucker and PRS Narrowfield pickups provide a lively combination of full midrange and articulate, chimey high-end tones. The coil-tap feature on the tone control allows the DS-01 pickup to split into single-coil mode, offering a wide range of tonal options. This versatility makes the S2 Vela ideal for various genres and playing styles, whether you're in the studio or on stage.
