Selling my VHT Pittbull Forty-Five, designed by Steve Fryette and built in the USA. Reportedly only around 165 head versions were produced, making these considerably harder to find than the combos.
45 watts powered by four EL84 power tubes, with four 12AX7 tubes handling the preamp and phase inverter, plus a 5AR4/GZ34 tube rectifier. Two channels deliver articulate cleans, crunchy breakup, and thick overdrive with excellent note separation and touch sensitivity.
This is the later model with the upgraded effects loop, featuring selectable series/parallel operation and an effects mix/level control. Also features onboard reverb.
Footswitch included.
