Here is a cool Gibson SG Deluxe in Hellfire Red finish, made in the USA in 1998. It features the distinctive three mini-humbucker pickup configuration, a six-position rotary selector, and a Maestro-labeled Bigsby-style tremolo. The model was a relatively short-lived Gibson model and is considerably less common than the standard SG models produced during this period.
Excellent overall condition, with only slight cosmetic wear consistent with its age and normal use. There is a small touched-up area on the back of the body where a strap button was previously installed and subsequently removed. Otherwise, the instrument presents very well for a guitar that is nearly three decades old.
The guitar comes with its original Gibson hard-shell case. Much of the original Tolex covering has been removed from the case, but the case remains solid and functional. The original paperwork is also included.
Overall, this is an excellent example of the relatively uncommon 1998 Gibson SG Deluxe.
