The Backun Q series is designed for professionals or advanced students. This model is grenadilla and has silver keys.

This clarinet was purchased in March 2019 as a demo model from a dealer (documentation pictured) who described its use as having been played by about 6 band directors for about 10 minutes each. It was then played for about two years by my dad, an advanced student in a community concert band. Since early 2021 it has been kept in its case in a climate-controlled room (not a basement/garage/attic).

I’m not a musician or dealer, so my estimation of the condition as very good is just that: an estimation. My dad took excellent care of this instrument, which his band director described to me as “a very fine clarinet.” New models retail for more than $4,000, but due to its use as a demo model, the price he paid was $2,500, so I am listing well below that benchmark.
