The Marshall JCM2000 DSL100 is an all-tube guitar amplifier head built around four ECC83 (12AX7) preamp tubes and four EL34 power tubes in a Class AB push-pull configuration, producing its distortion organically rather than through diode clipping. Output is 100 watts, switchable to 50 watts from the rear panel. It offers two footswitchable channels, Classic and Ultra, each with two modes (Clean/Crunch and Lead 1/Lead 2), effectively giving four amps in one head. Both channels share a three-band EQ and Presence control, with independent reverb levels per channel, a Tone Shift button on the Ultra channel for a mid-scoop voicing, and a Deep switch on the Classic channel for added low end. Connectivity includes two inputs, four speaker outputs, a series/parallel switchable effects loop, and footswitch inputs for channel and reverb switching.
