The Plexi-Drive Deluxe is an analog overdrive pedal in the “Marshall-in-a-box” style, designed to recreate the tone of late-1960s Marshall Plexi amps and cranked JTM45s. It covers a wide range of sounds, from vintage crunch to hard-hitting rock, with an active three-band EQ (bass, mids and treble) for precise tone shaping with different amps and guitars. Two mini-switches allow you to add low-end response for the feel of a 4×12 cabinet or increase brightness, while an independent boost circuit, inspired by Tube Screamer-style overdrives, adds extra mids and gain for solos. The overdrive and boost sections feature separate controls and footswitches, offering plenty of versatility in live playing situations.
