ESP LTD TA-604 FRX Signature Bass – Black Satin

The TA-604 FRX delivers a substantial, balanced feel in hand thanks to its neck-thru maple construction and thin U-shaped neck profile. This signature model pairs professional-grade components with aggressive active electronics, making it equally suited to heavy styles and demanding studio work. The 35" scale and tight, punchy tone establish this as a purpose-built instrument for players who demand both precision and punch.

Playability & Build

The 3-piece maple neck with rosewood fingerboard and 24 extra-jumbo frets enables fast action and clear articulation across the entire range. A 15.75" fingerboard radius maintains comfort during extended sessions, while the 40mm molded nut width provides definition between strings without sacrificing approachability. Neck-thru construction ensures solid sustain and resonance from bridge to headstock.

Tone & Electronics

Twin EMG 35DC active pickups deliver tight, punchy lows and articulate mids with minimal noise—ideal for modern bass playing. The active electronics layout includes dedicated volume, balance, and tone controls, granting precise signal shaping before the amplifier. Paired with the LTD BB-604 bridge and Grover tuners, this bass maintains pitch stability and tonal clarity in any setting.
