First introduced in 1954, the Les Paul Custom is affectionately known as the gBlack Beautyh for its elegant appearance and remains one of Gibsonfs most iconic and popular models to this day.

This guitar is a Gibson Custom Shop Historic Collection 1954 Les Paul Custom Reissue VOS.
It is a Historic Reissue model that faithfully reproduces the specifications from the very first year the Les Paul Custom was introduced!

The body and neck are crafted from mahogany, while the fingerboard is made of ebony.
It features traditional specifications that combine rich mid-to-low frequencies with a smooth response.
The neck features a g50s Medium C Profileh with moderate thickness, delivering a vintage-like feel and excellent playability.

Weighing 3.95 kg, this guitar is relatively lightweight for an all-mahogany model.
It is a captivating instrument that offers a rich mid-low range and a warm tone, combined with a responsive, lively sound.

The pickups?the defining feature of this 1954-spec model?include a Staple Pickup (P-480) at the neck position and a P-90 Soapbar-type pickup at the bridge position.
