Player's condition vintage instrument used for recording. Professionally set up with low action and easy playing neck.

Condition & Maintenance:

• Binding: Celluloid binding experienced typical age degradation but was professionally stabilized by a luthier 5 years ago. It has remained completely unchanged and structurally secure since. Two ~1-inch sections flaked off prior to treatment (visible in photos); remaining binding is stable.

• Electronics: 100% original factory pickups and wiring. Fully functional.

• Hardware: Original hardware intact with visible brass patina. Original Bigsby vibrato operates smoothly and holds tune.

• Backpad: Original vinyl backpad is soft and non-brittle; all snaps are intact.

• Mutes: Dual mechanical mutes are 100% functional. Degraded factory foam has been replaced with modern equivalent foam.

• Bridge: Upgraded to a modern Tune-o-matic for improved intonation. Original thumbwheel bridge is included in the case and can be reinstalled without tools.

• Strap Buttons: Upgraded to Dunlop strap locks. Original factory thumbscrew buttons are included. Strap in photos is not included.

Headstock Details:

The original plastic truss rod cover was factory-glued and disintegrated during removal for setup. Factory glue residue is present but can be cleaned. Includes an uninstalled engraved metal Etsy replacement truss rod cover in the case (left unmounted to avoid more drilling into the wood).
