A wonderful vintage Martin 00-17 from 1949, featuring the classic all-mahogany construction that gives these guitars their distinctive warm, woody tone, rich midrange, and beautifully clear fundamental.

This is a truly special instrument with fantastic character, feel, and sound. The guitar has just had a fresh neck reset and is now playing beautifully, with ideal action and a very comfortable setup across the fretboard.

The instrument remains original, with the exception of the replaced tuner buttons. It has been properly set up and is ready to be played and enjoyed. The neck reset has brought the geometry back where it should be, making this an exceptionally comfortable example of a nearly 80-year-old Martin.

The 00-17 is a wonderfully balanced guitar, equally inspiring for fingerstyle playing, blues, folk, and recording. Its all-mahogany construction delivers that dry, intimate, woody vintage Martin sound that is so difficult to replicate with modern instruments.
