TG/AMPS 800 clone chassis 45/50 watts

This is a used TG/Amps 800 clone guitar amp chassis in good condition. This is built to be similar to a Marshall JCM 800 but this one has an extra switch to be able to used either 6L6 or EL34 tubes with the flip of a switch. This amp has larger tranformers that can be used with either two 6L6 or two EL34 tubes. marked 1987X

TG/amps 800 clone, 45-50 watts ,chassis and transformers are from 80’s peavey VT classic combo, PCB removed for hand wired turret board with all new components installed, peavey used good quality transformers during this era, ships with two ElectroHarmonix branded EL34 tubes, 4 and 8 ohm speaker outs, one added feature is a PPIMV , so you have your pre and post vol controls plus vol control after PI gives a little more contour of vol dynamics , all other circuitry is that of early 80’s 800, of course there are other variables that contribute to sound, transformers play a role, aging of components, I am not proclaiming that this amp sounds exactly as the original, but you will not be disappointed.

The weight of this hand wired chassis with tubes is 21 lb 15.8 oz without packaging.
