2026 Gibson Acoustic J-45 Standard - Vintage Sunburst

A true icon, the Gibson J-45 Standard has been the benchmark for slope-shouldered acoustics since its introduction in 1942. Known as “The Workhorse,” this legendary model delivers the warm, balanced tone and unmistakable character heard on countless classic recordings across rock, country, and folk.

Finished in a timeless Vintage Sunburst, this J-45 embodies everything players love about Gibson acoustics - rich lows, focused mids, and a crisp, controlled top end.

The J-45 is known for its signature “thump”—a warm, punchy low end paired with clear mids and a smooth, dry high end that blend beautifully and sit perfectly in a mix. Whether you’re strumming, flatpicking, or fingerpicking, this guitar responds with exceptional balance and clarity. The SlimTaper neck profile offers a modern, comfortable feel, making it easy to play for extended sessions, while the shorter Gibson scale adds a touch of warmth and effortless playability.

Equipped with LR Baggs VTC electronics, this J-45 is ready for live performance or recording, delivering a natural acoustic voice when plugged in.

This guitar is in excellent condition with minimal signs of use. No notable blemishes outside of some light superficial surface scratches which cannot be properly photographed. Plays beautifully and sounds incredible. Electronics function perfectly. Includes original Gibson hardshell case and case candy shown.
