Fred’s Lab Manatee | 4-part Spectral Desktop Synthesizer

For the discerning buyer: Fred’s Lab “Manatee” is among the premiere compact desktop synthesizers. It’s quirky, but ultimately (as with all comparably formatted desktop synths) if you can get right with the layout there are few products on the market that can provide this level of power, multi-track granularity, warmth of sound, and breadth of sonic outcomes. The manatee has layers. 

4-part multi timbral digital spectral synth (with one of those flavorful analog multimode filters at the end of the chain to warm the whole thing up). Up to 4 independent parts sharing up to 16 voices, sub-osc, FM capabilities, noise & ring modulator, custom LFOs, and a bunch of other bells & whistles packed into this absurdly compact form factor. 

Clean, fully functional, well-maintained, smoke-free, lightly used (always had midi devices controlling it so, strange as it is, I’ve barely touched it). Some very light indications of normal wear on the body - hence the discounted asking price - but ultimately looks great. I do not believe it’s currently running on the most up-to-date firmware, but that’s an easy enough fix.
