Amazing little amp built into an ammo can that does the Marshall plexi-jmc800 to perfection. Sounds killer.
BC Audio just stopped production so these are becoming increasingly hard to find.
This one was a Special Run build with half power setting in the standby position and much wider sweep for the presence knob.
Comes with a NOS Sylvania 6v6 pair of power tubes installed!
From BC Audio:
Amplifier No. 8's unique Drive circuit controls more than gain. It tailors the overall response of the amp, tightening up the low end as you turn it up, allowing for massive overdrive without mush while ensuring that cleans remain full, not thin.
Like all BC Audio amps, Amplifier No. 8 is meticulously hand crafted in true point-to-point fashion, and employs 6SL7GT octal preamp tubes for their rich, warm tone and power-tube-like breakup.
