This is the MXR Ten Band EQ, model M108S, the version Dunlop upgraded with a second output, true bypass switching, noise-reduction circuitry and brighter LEDs. Ten sliders cut or boost up to 12 dB each, from 31.25 Hz up to 16 kHz, with a Volume slider at one end and a Gain slider at the other. It runs on an 18-volt DC supply, center negative, and draws 48 mA.
Dunlop made it to tune a bass or guitar rig to the room, put back the level and treble a crowded pedalboard loses, or warm up an amplified acoustic. Out 1, Out 2, the power jack and In are all on the top end. Out 1 goes to the amp, and Out 2 can feed a second amp or a separate signal chain. The sliders light up blue when it's on, and bypass is true hardwire.
