For sale is a beautiful 1981 Ibanez AS100 semi-hollow electric guitar in a classic sunburst finish. Made in Japan during Ibanez’s highly regarded early-’80s era, this is a fantastic vintage instrument with excellent tone and playability.
The guitar has been set up well, plays fantastic, and sounds amazing. It’s fully stable, and is ready to be played and enjoyed. I bought it two years ago hoping to play it more, and unfortunately, I just didn’t have the time so now it needs a new home.
Cosmetically, the guitar shows some notable finish cracks, which are clearly documented in the listing photos. These imperfections are cosmetic and do not affect the guitar’s structural stability, sound, or playability.
To the best of my knowledge, the guitar retains its original pickups, electronics, and hardware, although I am not an expert on this particular model. The truss rod cover is missing.
The guitar comes with a new Gator ICON case that I bought when I bought the guitar. I maybe used it twice.
