Universal Audio 710 Twin-Finity Microphone preamp.
The Universal Audio 710 Twin-Finity is a wonderful preamp, it features a Tube-Solid-State-Tone-Blending knob that can switch to a 100% transistor preamp or 100% tube preamp, or you can blend to your choice.
The transistor side of the preamp is punchy and great for drums or fast paced vocals, and the tube side is warm and rich with harmonics when pushed and is perfect for any vocals and instruments.
For those who are audio enthusiasts I have upgraded the tube from its original ECC83S to a NOS MULLARD BLACKBURN 12AX7 ECC83 TUBE (circa 1962 I61-series)
I have recently swapped to a Neve 1073SPX preamp/eq and have no need for the 710 no more.
I still have the original box and rack ears with the screws that mount them.
I put on a tube shield that blocks interference and radio frequencies, does not block magnetic interference so keep away from studio monitors.
