Matchless Hot Box V1 Tube Preamp / Overdrive Pedal w/ Original Box & Warranty card. Electrolytic capacitor manufacturer date codes are 37th week of 1995.
The pedal is fully functional and sounds exactly as it should, with strong output, low noise, and none of the transformer issues that are sometimes discussed with these units.
Cosmetically, it is in very good condition for its age.
Please note:
• One original rubber foot is missing.
• The serial number label is no longer present on the bottom of the unit.
These cosmetic issues do not affect functionality in any way.
This is a great example of one of the most sought-after tube-driven preamp/overdrive pedals ever produced and a chance to own an early Matchless classic with its original packaging and documentation.
Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the description. The pedal will be packed securely and shipped promptly.
