Awesome sounding 2 channel amp. The 6L6 tubes in this one really bring the Ampliphonix (modified bass man) channel to life. One of the best clean tones I've heard. And the Gain channel goes from smooth breakup to metal territory. Kept clean in my home studio.
From Sweetwater:
Based on the ever-sought-after cleans of a legendary boutique amplifier beauty, the Ampliphonix channel tackles everything from surgical cleans to harmonic-laden blues-rock overdrive. The story goes that the Amplified Nation team had a remarkably rare modified vintage amp in the shop from a legendary California-based boutique builder, allowing founder Taylor Cox to study the circuit in all its ultra-rare glory. The Ampliphonix channel re-creates that amp’s expressive and dynamic tone to a T. Equipped with a Bright switch and a driving Gain switch, the Ampliphonix channel is sure to please any player seeking the most complex and overtone-rich cleans and low-gain tones possible.
