I purchased this Paiste cymbal back in the 1980s. At that time, I drilled a small pinhole to help prevent a bell crack from spreading. It has held up for decades, with no further cracking.
The sound is classic Paiste, with a beautiful bloom and resonance when struck.
As with my other vintage cymbals, I’ve intentionally left this one uncleaned and unpolished to preserve the sound I enjoy. With a proper cleaning and polish, it should shine up nicely.
A great opportunity to own a vintage Paiste cymbal with decades of history and plenty of character.
