For your consideration is a 1949 Martin ES-125, in Sunburst finish, in excellent cosmetic and playing condition.
Included is the original faux alligator case in good condition.
This guitar upon first inspection looks like it was built 7 years ago, not 77.
It is the cleanest ES-125 I've ever seen. There is very little wear, and upon close inspection you can find some indentations, scratches, small dings, swirls(please see all pics).
The bridge, pickguard and assembly, all look to be original. I'm unsure about the tailpiece after getting different and varying information in researching. Any help from Gibson experts would be appreciated.
The knobs, P-90, Kluson tuners look to have been replaced at some point.
The guitar has been refretted, with a new nut, and there are some indentations in the frets, particularly in the first two positions, but plenty of life left.
It is a wonderful player, with low and easy action, and room to move either way with the bridge and saddle. Super fun guitar to play, and so balanced and easy on the lap. Mojo for days with this one.
Will be packed with extreme care, detuned, and fully insured, for a safe journey.
Please ask any and all questions. Thanks for looking!
