Yamaha DTX Extreme III Special

Looking to upgrade your apartment percussion game?  Want to try your hand at being cybernetic Terry Bozzio?  Just need a basement kit that can manage all your crazy dance party dreams?  Look no further!

This Yamaha DTXtreme III Special has all the bells and whistles you want with a bunch of extras thrown in.  Never been gigged with and has spent the entirety of its life in a quiet music room getting lonesome and in need of someone with more free time.

The base kit is hex-rack mounted with four 3-zone tom pads with adjustable parameters, a larger three zone snare pad with snare stand, a kick pad with an extra output to connect another kick drum (also included!), a pedal-actuated hi-hat with a real hi-hat stand that plays like the real deal, two 3-zone crashes (chokeable), a 2-zone ride (also chokeable), two 2-zone cymbals, and a robust control module to run them all with tons of sounds from natural to paranormal.  USB, Aux in, and Midi capable, so if you want to make a drum set of just cat meowing sounds, I won’t judge.

Also a ton of student features like metronome, practice backing tracks, a nifty feature that charts your timing and groove (and plays no notes if a hit isn’t in time) and lots of other goodies (see the manual).

Some added extras thrown in just to sweeten the pot like a second Pearl kick and some single-zone cymbal pads (good for splash or China sounds).  All the cabling as well.  The only thing it doesn’t come with are the kick pedal and throne.  And talent.  You have provide that yourself, but this will definitely help get you there.
