Here is an extremely nice example of an early 1980s Fender. During this small window of history, the silver faceplates were discontinued and Fender went back to the black faceplates. However, this is before Paul Rivera's team began redesigning the circuits creating the alternate versions of the Champ. This one has been part of my personal collection for a while and I really hate to see it go, as I like stuff that is rare with interesting backstories.
As you can see, this one is in exceptional condition. It works perfect. It sounds just beautiful. Outstanding Fender clean tones, and like all Champs, gives a great saturated power tube overdrive when cranked. This one sounds, and takes pedals much better, than an older 70s one I had a few years ago; not sure why. Hard, hard, hard to let this one go.
Thanks for looking and please let me know if you have any questions. It will be packaged carefully and shipped promptly.
