2016 Gibson Memphis ES-339 Studio in stock!!

Produced for only a brief period around the mid-2010s, the ES-339 Studio is a relatively rare model that is seldom seen on the market. Based on the ES-339, a compact version of the ES-335, this model features a simpler design with fewer decorative appointments.

The vibrant wine-red finish, complemented by black binding, creates a sophisticated and stylish appearance. The red side dots on the neck add a distinctive touch, while the truss rod cover featuring an F-hole-style logo gives the guitar a charming, playful character.

The guitar features a laminated maple body and a maple neck, with a torrefied maple fingerboard. The controls consist of the standard configuration of two volume knobs, two tone knobs, and a three-way pickup selector switch.

In terms of sound, the guitar is equipped with a '57 Classic pickup in the neck position and a Super 57 pickup in the bridge position. Overall, it delivers a rich, full-bodied tone with a smooth, sweet character. The compact body size also retains the substantial acoustic resonance and woody character that are hallmarks of a semi-hollowbody guitar.

There are a few minor signs of use, but considering its age, the guitar remains in relatively good cosmetic condition.There is an area near the F-hole on the left side of the body top that appears to show a reaction between the finish and another substance. A small ding is also present on the treble side of the back of the neck, around the ninth fret.

From a playability standpoint, the neck is nearly straight, and the string action is in good condition. Fret wear is minimal, so the guitar should provide a comfortable playing experience without any significant issues.

The guitar comes with the original hard case shown in the listing, along with its certificate of authenticity and other included documentation.
