This incredible 1956 Fender Stratocaster was owned by a friend of Howard Dumble, who took it upon himself to customize the electronics, and the end result is undeniable. This is hands down one of the best-sounding vintage Strats to ever come through the door here at ECG! Not only that, it feels fantastic with a classic, full V-contour neck and rings like a bell. This guitar feels alive in your hands, and it's truly hard to put down. Cosmetically, it's well-loved, worn, and beat up in all the right ways, with the kind of honest wear the Custom Shop wishes they could replicate. Other modifications include a '60s-era factory neck refin, a replaced nut and frets (it feels fantastic!), and a swapped, era-correct D tuner. We absolutely love guitars like this here at ECG, and can't wait to find it a new home! Includes original hardshell case.
