Up for sale, my 2019 National M1 tricone resonator guitar, in Ex+ (actually Mint) condition. This instrument delivers the unmistakable sound of a Tricone with the warmth of a wood body. The lightweight mahogany body is highlighted by a sturdy sound wall and hand-painted steel cover plate. The mahogany neck clears 12 frets to the body and features an ivoroid-bound ebony fretboard, with inlaid mother-of-pearl position markers. Tuners are vintage-style engraved open gear. Resonator consists of three 6 inch alloy cones. Bridge is maple with aluminum T-bridge. Nut is bone with a width of 1.825 inches. Neck is comfortable C shape. Body width is 14.25 inches, depth is 3.125 inches, and scale length is 25 & 21/32 inches. Action is currently 8/64 inches, set up for slide. Weight is 5 pounds, 14 oz. Made in the USA.

As noted, condition of this guitar is Mint. It has been very lightly used and never taken out of my home. When not being played, it resides in its humidified National hard case, also in mint condition. Tone is more even and mellow than metal resonator guitars which are much brassier and harsher. It is loud, however. Fantastic for all kind of music, especially folk, Americana, and blues. It particularly shines when played with a slide.
