Ludwig LB464R Raw Brass Phonic Snare Drum – Handcrafted 14x6.5 Studio Snare

Ludwig's Raw Brass Phonic continues a legacy of premium brass snare construction that spans over a century. Built with a 1.2mm seamless, beaded brass shell sourced from the same exacting standards as Ludwig's iconic Black Beauty, this 14x6.5 snare delivers the uncolored, articulate tone that studio and gigging drummers demand. The raw, unfinished brass exterior develops a natural patina over time, creating a distinctive visual character that varies uniquely from drum to drum while contributing to a rich, open top-end response with minimal tonal coloration.

Every Raw Brass Phonic features responsive bearing edges, genuine Ludwig hardware, and a sensitive design that captures nuanced dynamics in recording sessions and live performance alike. The combination of premium materials and traditional craftsmanship makes this snare a serious choice for players seeking authentic brass tone and reliable performance.
