Here's The Run Down:
This is a really clean, original and great playing 1988 USA Hamer Chaparral Custom. This guitar is in great condition overall, was well taken care of and is in the cosmetic condition shown, so be sure to see all of the pics (see pics). I tried to take really good pics, so you can judge for yourself (see pics). The Original Finish is in great shape overall and is 100% original and repair free. There will be some minor marks, dings, chips around the edges and scratches as you would expect of a pre owned guitar, but still one of the cleanest 80's Chaparral's I've had my hands on.
The original black hardware shows minor discoloration. There's only very minor fret wear and light buckle rash to mention. The neck is straight with a working truss rod and plays amazing from one end of the finger board to the other. All original electronics work perfectly and sound incredible without issue. Pot codes date 137 88xx with untouched solder joints.
This USA Made Hamer plays incredible! Although I think its set up great, everyone has their own preferences. If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility and cost to have it set up to your liking. The action is low, the neck is straight and plays excellent. Pro set up with Super Slinky 9's.
Everything operates as it should, and has never had, nor does it have any breaks or repairs unless noted above.
