Offering a vintage RCA MI-12016 Microphone. The RCA MI-12016 is a vintage, metal-bodied dynamic “bullet” microphone, most often dated to the 1940s. It has a distinctive rounded, ribbed body and Art Deco-style base. Collectors and sellers also describe it as a harp mic, because its compact shape is comfortable to hold while playing harmonica. The sound produced has a midrange-forward tone with some low-frequency roll-off. It's original factory element is intact, but should be noted that the output level is less than optimum, but with a decent preamp will perform just fine. (Check the voice sample in the listing video.)

The paint on this one looks excellent with no scratches or wear, and most importantly, none of the front ribs are damaged like so many of these tend to be. The standard chromed RCA 5/8" thread adapter is included, as is the basic display desk stand. Mic is hardwired to a 2' cable with make 1/4" phono plug.
