Gibson Hummingbird 2024 – Heritage Cherry Sunburst – LR Baggs VTC – Original Hardshell Case – Used Excellent
Few acoustic guitars are as instantly recognizable as the Hummingbird. Introduced in 1960 as Gibson's first square-shoulder dreadnought, it has been a fixture on stages and records ever since, prized for a warm, round, sweet voice that sits beautifully behind a singer and records with ease. That famous engraved hummingbird pickguard and cherry sunburst finish have barely changed in sixty-plus years, and for good reason. This 2024 example is built in Bozeman, Montana with a solid Sitka spruce top over solid mahogany back and sides, a mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and split parallelogram inlays, and Gibson's 24.75" scale for that comfortable, slinky feel. An LR Baggs VTC pickup is installed for natural, honest amplified tone with discreet soundhole controls.
This one is in wonderful shape and very close to new. The only real mark is a small chip on the bass-side edge of the fretboard around the 7th fret; otherwise it is clean, minty, and plays beautifully. Checked over by our certified technicians and ready to go. Comes with the original Gibson hardshell case.
