Purchased new in 2021, this John Packer Rath 333O bass trombone is in excellent condition. This instrument features dual independent rotors and is pitched in Bb/F/Gb/D. The original brass thumb rest on the the F-attachment trigger has been replaced with a bourbon barrel oak aftermarket thumb rest. The only blemish is on the valve caps where the brass has oxidized (turned green) in a couple of place. Nothing a little polish can't fix. I have included a Dennis Wick 0-AL Heritage Series mouthpiece (gold rim). This is an excellent option for a high intermediate level bass trombone for musicians who wish to double or for transitioning to bass trombone. I used this instrument in both symphonic band and big band settings. This trombone also features a 9.5 inch gold brass bell and the lead pipe was designed by UK trombone guru Michael Rath.
