Montreal Assembly 856 for ZELLERSASN, built in 2018. Kept in a smoke-free studio. Works perfectly.
This is the cult looper and sample sequencer from Montreal Assembly, a tiny Canadian builder whose pedals sell out fast. You record a loop, and the 856 grabs pieces of it and plays them back in new rhythms and at different pitches. It can sound like a glitchy delay, a beat-chopping sampler, or something you didn't expect at all. Sequences can be saved and applied to new loops.
It’s great for ambient and experimental guitar, chopping up drum loops and synths, or just finding weird ideas you wouldn't come up with on your own. It has full-size 5-pin MIDI, so any parameter can be controlled from an external MIDI device, plus a mini USB port for firmware updates. The dry signal stays analog.

Condition: Works great. Scuffs on the bottom of the case from use, but the knobs, switches, and footswitches are all perfect.
