Marantz PMD510 Dual Cassette Deck
Sold for parts or restoration. This unit seems to do everything EXEPT pass sound. Obviously, since it does not pass sound we couldn't do a full test of all functions - Sold as-is.
Here's what we do know;
- Both drives - play, FF, rewind, stop, eject, etc - all work. Belts & motors seem good.
- Deck A - does not pass audio, but passes a strange electronic whining sound.
- Deck B - does not pass audio, just silence.
- Light cosmetic wear - face is very clean. Rack ears in good shape (see all photos).
