I have a super Rare Shin-EI Companion Echo Machine for sale. It has just been overhauled by my repair shop including new Tape from Echofix.com and a full restoration.
They didn’t make many of these and there’s barely any info about these online, so heres your opportunity to own a really great sounding Tape Echo. Ive worked on lots of the Echoplex units and this is similar/in between this and a Roland Space Echo RE-150-201. Its noise floor is low compared to the EP-3/more hi-fi sounding than either unit.
-PSU Rebuilt and all old electrolytic capacitors replaced with hi quality Nichicon or Panasonic capacitors
-Full Calibration/Bias calibration
-Head Alignment and EQ Adjustment
-New Tape Loop installed (can provide extra if needed in future, but it’s pretty easy to loop by hand)
-Ive got videos of this unit on my Instagram stories, and can send them if you’d like to hear some sound examples
$1500 shipped in the USA
