The Pulp ’N’ Peel V4 combines a compressor, preamp, overdrive circuit, and direct box in one pedal.

• Volume: Controls the overall output level. It can also provide a substantial clean boost.
• Comp: Adjusts the amount of compression and sustain.
• Blend: Mixes the compressed sound with your original, uncompressed bass signal, helping preserve attack and clarity.
• EQ: Adjusts brightness, allowing you to make the tone darker or brighter.
• Dirt switch: Activates a parallel overdrive circuit for extra warmth, grit, and bite. A recessed side-mounted trim control adjusts the drive amount.

Direct-output and connectivity features

• Balanced XLR output: Connects directly to a mixing console, PA system, or recording interface.
• Ground lift: Helps eliminate unwanted hum when using the XLR connection.
• ¼-inch input and output: Integrates with a conventional bass pedalboard and amplifier.
• Buffering: The updated V4 design provides buffered bypass switching to help maintain signal integrity through longer cable runs.
• Power: Uses a standard 9V DC, center-negative power supply. It cannot be powered by a 9V battery.
