2024 Gibson Custom Shop Jeff Beck “YardBurst” 1959 Les Paul Standard – Dark Cherry Sunburst
Limited to just 130 guitars worldwide, the Jeff Beck “YardBurst” is an exceptionally rare Gibson Custom Shop recreation of the legendary 1959 Les Paul Standard Jeff Beck played during his time with the Yardbirds. Weight: 8lbs!
This example has been kept in excellent condition with no visual blemishes outside of the beautiful factory aging. The attention to detail is extraordinary, from the beautiful wood grain and Dark Cherry Sunburst finish to the Murphy Lab aging that faithfully recreates the look of Jeff Beck’s original guitar. The electronics work as expected and sound absolutely incredible. This is a truly special Les Paul that would make an outstanding addition to any serious collection.
The “YardBurst” captures the distinctive details of Beck’s iconic instrument, including the classic double-white Custombuckers and black single-ply pickguard. The one-piece lightweight mahogany body features a hand-selected top chosen to match the original, while the mahogany neck has a comfortable ’50s Rounded Medium C profile and an Indian rosewood fingerboard with aged cellulose nitrate trapezoid inlays.
Unpotted Custombucker pickups with double classic white bobbins deliver rich, articulate vintage PAF tones through handwired electronics featuring CTS 500k audio taper potentiometers and paper-in-oil capacitors. A lightweight aluminum stopbar, ABR-1 bridge, and aged Kluson tuners complete the vintage-correct specifications.
The guitar includes its original factory-aged Lifton hardshell case, Certificate of Authenticity, and all original case candy commemorating Jeff Beck’s legacy.
