Up for sale a 1997 Fender Big Apple Stratocaster in a classic Olympic White finish with a gorgeous maple fretboard. Part of the highly regarded and short-lived Hot Rodded American Series, this guitar is a powerhouse, factory-equipped with a Seymour Duncan '59 humbucker in the neck and a Pearly Gates Plus in the bridge. (the PG+ is a custom version of the Pearly Gates that Seymour Duncan made for Fender for this model Strat).

The guitar is in overall excellent shape. There is a very slight, surface-level finish crack on the top side of the cutaway horn. This is purely cosmetic in the clear coat (very common for Fenders of this era) and does not affect the structural integrity or performance of the guitar at all. The neck is straight, the frets have plenty of life left, and it plays beautifully.

The original hardshell case is included, which has some shadowing from sitting in a sunlit room with another case on top of it. Functionally excellent.

I have upgraded the tremolo block to a premium FU-Tone brass block, which adds a ton of sustain, and clarity to the humbucker tones. The original steel block is in the case if you want to switch it back to stock.

And I am including a set of Brass Mighty-Mite replica bridge saddles made by The Cyber Shop - these were custom made, as the Big Apple has offset intonation holes in the saddles. If you don't want them, just let me know.

Note for Purists:

If you prefer the stock setup, the original factory tremolo block is fully intact and included with the sale.
