Selling my 1990 Martin 000C-16, which I’ve owned since 2010. Its distinctive vertical oval soundhole and cutaway set it apart from the traditional Martin 000.
Built in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, it features a solid Sitka spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, a 25.4-inch scale, and 22 frets. The 000 body offers comfortable proportions, while the cutaway provides access to the upper frets.
Specifications:
• Solid Sitka spruce top
• Solid mahogany back and sides
• 000 cutaway body with vertical oval soundhole
• 25.4-inch scale length
• 22 frets
• After market electronic pickup installed
• Original Martin hardshell case included
Condition:
The soundboard has a previously glued crack running from the bridge toward the tail. This is why the condition is listed as fair instead of very good. This is the condition I bought it in. The crack is stable and hasn't changed since I bought it 12 years ago. Please review the close-up photographs of this area. The guitar holds tuning well. The pickup works but I have no idea what kind it is.
The original hardshell case is missing a latch. The interior is in good condition.
