JBL AM7215/64-WH Two-Way Full Range Loudspeaker

The AM7215/64-WH is a robust mid-to-large format two-way system engineered for consistent performance in fixed installations and touring applications. Its trapezoidal birch enclosure delivers solid thermal mass and rigidity, while the rotatable waveguide accommodates both vertical and horizontal mounting orientations without repositioning the entire cabinet. This is a workhorse design built to maintain coherent coverage and SPL output across extended operational periods.

Acoustic Design & Coverage

The pairing of a 2265H 15-inch low-frequency driver with dual voice coil and dual magnetic gap to a 2432H compression driver produces a 60 x 40 degree coverage pattern with a 1.8 kHz passive crossover frequency. This architecture ensures smooth integration across the frequency spectrum and maintains even tonal balance across the listening area, making the system reliable for both installed venues and mobile deployments.

Power Handling & Output Capability

The AM7215/64-WH delivers 123 dB continuous SPL (129 dB peak) in passive mode, with significantly higher output available in bi-amp configuration: 128 dB continuous for the LF driver and 135 dB continuous for the HF driver. Its 600W power rating and switchable bi-amp/passive operation provide flexibility in system integration while maintaining headroom for demanding sound reinforcement tasks.
