Mill River Music brings you a used and highly-modified Fender Standard Stratocaster MIM! This is a special piece, with fun pink plastic knobs and selector switch tip, but the goodness is all under the hood; this guitar had one of its standard 3 knobs removed, then the hole was plugged with a matching piece of pickguard material. The pickups have been changed out to a Gibson 490T in the bridge position, a DiMarzio DP408CR in the middle, and a DiMarzio DP402W in the neck; the bridge pickup is a humbucker, and the previous owner of the guitar added a mini-toggle switch to coil split the humbucker, unlocking a wide variety of new sounds!
The Maple neck feels good to play, however we note the skunk stripe down the middle has started to shift, so towards the 7th fret and up, you might feel some discrepancy.
This Strat's internal mechanisms and hardware also take adjustments nicely; we note the truss moved well and helped bring the guitar to shop-spec, and the saddles adjustments make playing the guitar easier and smoother!
