Danelectro '56 U2 Reissue – Beatnik Burgundy – Late 1990s
Classic Danelectro '56 U2 reissue in the beautiful and somewhat uncommon Beatnik Burgundy finish—a deep, slightly metallic burgundy with brownish undertones that changes character depending on the lighting.
Features two original-style lipstick pickups, classic Danelectro construction, and distinctive vintage styling.
The guitar plays well and is in very good overall condition. There are some minor surface and pick scratches around the controls and pickup selector, consistent with normal use. No significant dents, cracks, scratches, or known repairs.
I purchased the guitar used approximately ten years ago. Based on the model and finish, it appears to be a late-1990s reissue, although the exact production year is unverified. No serial number or manufacturing markings were found.
