Ibanez JS-700 Transparent Cherry 6 string Joe Satriani P90 Pickups w/HSC
Extremely rare Ibanez JS700, built in Korea in September 1996 at the Cort Factory as part of the iconic Joe Satriani signature series.
This is not the typical JS model: what makes the JS-700 truly special is its factory stop tail wraparound bridge and P90 configuration, something almost never seen on a Satriani guitar, which is traditionally associated with humbuckers and floyd rose style bridge; this gives the instrument a unique tonal identity within the JS lineup, more open, raw, and expressive, while still retaining the smooth playability the series is known for.
Even more interesting: Joe Satriani himself has been seen using P90-equipped guitars in the studio, and several YouTube videos and studio clips confirm his appreciation for this type of tone, making this model a fascinating piece for both collectors and players chasing his broader sonic palette!
Guitar is in excellent condition all original, no damage. No repairs with a little bit of pick marks on front and a few very minor surfaces scratches on back. Electronics work great, sounds great, plays great, neck is straight with great action. Guitar comes with a very nice Black Hard shell Hard case with black plush lining. Rare,Very hard to find one like this in excellent condition.
