The Boss AC-3 Acoustic Simulator is a versatile guitar effects pedal designed to transform the sound of an electric guitar into a variety of acoustic-style tones without requiring a separate acoustic guitar.

Using Boss COSM (Composite Object Sound Modeling) technology, the AC-3 provides four distinct acoustic simulation modes: Standard, Jumbo, Enhance, and Piezo. Each mode offers a different tonal character, allowing guitarists to create everything from natural acoustic-style sounds to brighter, more pronounced textures.

The pedal features dedicated Body and Top controls for adjusting the resonance and brightness of the simulated acoustic tone. A built-in reverb effect adds depth and ambience, while the Level control adjusts the output volume.

Condition:

This pedal is in good used condition with cosmetic wear consistent with previous use.

The yellow enclosure presents well overall, with light surface scratches, minor scuffs, and some small finish chips around the left side of the upper control panel.

The original graphics and lettering remain clear and intact. All four control knobs, the indicator lens, and the rubber footswitch pad are present.

The underside shows normal surface wear and has several strips of masking tape with handwritten settings attached to the original bottom label. These appear to be reference settings left by the previous owner.

The original manufacturer label is partially covered by the tape, although the Made in Taiwan marking and serial number remain visible.

All four bottom screws are present.

The original Boss box and owner's manual are included. The box and manual show some wear from handling and storage.

Overall, this is a good-condition Boss AC-3 Acoustic Simulator with its original box and manual.
