Up for sale is a custom hand-built PedalPCB Vibrobot Tremolo, an accurate and upgraded clone of the rare and iconic Frantone Vibutron.

Out of all the PedalPCB tremolo circuits I’ve built, this one is hands-down my favorite. It delivers incredibly lush, organic, and usable tremolo tones that will sit perfectly on any board. Whether you want subtle, warm pulse or hard-chopping machine-gun stutter, this pedal covers all the bases.

Features & Tone

• Speed & Depth Controls: Simple, intuitive controls to easily dial in your rate and depth intensity.
• 3-Way Waveform Toggle: Select between Sine (smooth/vintage), Triangle (classic pulse), and Square (hard chop/helicopter stutter) wave shapes.
• Internal Volume Trim Pot: Set precisely to unity gain (no volume drop when engaged). Adjusted and fine-tuned for perfect level matching.

Custom Modifications & Upgrades

• Extended Slow-Speed Mod: Swapped the stock 220nF capacitor at C6 for a 330nF film cap (socketed beneath the board for easy swapping if desired). This allows the tremolo to oscillate significantly slower than the standard stock circuit while keeping the top-end speed intact!
• Upgraded Trimmit Board at R21: Installed a PPCB Trimmit board with a 100k trim potentiometer (dialed in to ~93k) via custom pin headers for exact bias tuning.
• Audiophile Components: Built with premium components throughout, including a non-polarized electrolytic capacitor at C1.

Build Quality & Aesthetics

• Killer Koi Sparkle Finish: Housed in a 125B enclosure coated in LoveMySwitches' limited-edition Killer Koi orange sparkle powder coat with a film-free decal under a glossy 2K clear coat. (Note: The removable bottom plate is a shade or two off from the main enclosure, as pictured).
• Premium Blue Accents: Fitted with blue 20mm anodized aluminum knobs and a bezel-less 2mm ultra-clean blue LED indicator.
• Smooth Hardware: Features top-mounted enclosed jacks (using a PPCB top jack plate), a premium Taiway DPDT toggle switch with a dress nut, and a whisper-quiet Hot pink soft-click 3PDT footswitch with a PPCB breakout board.
